The birth of this blog
I’ve been working several things lately and have neglected to get this site back up and running the way I want it to be. One thing that has held me back in the past is trying to keep a professional atmosphere and formal language. You know what? I’m burnt out trying to present myself professionally so much of the time.
I’m a home business - internet marketing coach. I’m not a corporate guru nor do I ever hope to be. I choose this lifestyle so I could work in my pajama’s. So it’s time for me to cut loose a little and make friends - not customers.

I love internet marketing. I spent 10 years finding ways to advertise for free because I had to. I didn’t have the money to try and test unknown resources.

How do I make money from a squeeze page?
Let’s investigate this landing page stuff. First, all traffic is routed to this page. Depending on what your focal point is, this page may be a sales page or to get new subscribers to opt in to your ezine. There are marketers on both side of the case for which technique is best. Since both have had high levels of success, why not test both methods with your campaign?
No matter if you’re working a sales page, request for information, or a free publication – your page must create the desire to make a instant decision to act. Limited and one time offers and bonus freebies are some of the regularly seen methods being pushed on squeeze pages to successfully raise conversion rates.
Once your visitor follows through by filling the form or making the purchase you need to send them to your thank you page. Be sure to evaluate any advertisements sent to your list for value. Be careful of the advertising as it will reflect back to your name. And don’t oversell advertising to your list. Selling to many ad spaces will lower the worth of your newsletter and your advertisers will not return if your mailings become full of advertisements or lose integrity.
Another way to profit from your squeeze page is to endorse affiliate products to your readers. When you use a product that you like, you can inform your subscribers how it worked for you. Then invite them to take a look at the product from your affiliate link. Offering a special bonus as extra motivation is often helpful to get the product considered by your reader.
The most lucrative option for your squeeze page operation is to create and sell your own products or services to your list members. Now that you have been in contact with them several times these readers are warm to you and your products will do better here with your list members then in colder markets.
In conclusion it is best to keep in mind that crafting a squeeze page cycle is not an exact science. It is safe to say at this time, spring of 2008, that it is certainly an established strategy that does work. How you approach the design of your strategy is a personal preference and testing process that can be creatively adapted to fit your style. Test different headlines, offers and call to action messages to find the key to a successful squeeze page strategy that will fit you and your marketing needs.
